Andromeda Galaxy Mural

This is a photo from a newspaper article written about a ceiling mural I painted years ago. It was the andromeda m-31 star cluster with trompe l'oeil columns and balustrades to make the ceiling look like it was open to the sky. Taking photographs of my work was almost impossible at this point in my career, so there are no color photographs. If only I had a digital camera then. The good news is that the unfinished mock up painting remains in my possession. I did just enough of it to explain how the finished mural would look. I have decided to finish it. I will post pictures as I go along.

A lot of things I do could be considered a "cluster" too : )
